Mite Cross-Ice
USA Hockey calls all players 8 years old and under "Mites". The MITE CROSS-ICE HOCKEY program is for players that typically have 1 or 2 years of skating experience. There will be 2 practices (1 on the weekend and 1 on a weeknight) and 1 weekend cross ice game starting in mid-October and running through the end of February. Players will be divided into teams that are as competitively even as possible. Some cross ice games will be played against other nearby programs.
There are no tryouts required to play MITE CROSS-ICE HOCKEY. Any player that would like to join the program will be placed on a team. To sign up for MITE CROSS-ICE HOCKEY, online registration is required. Although players can register up until the start of the season in October, early registration is encouraged.
